Possibly related to this ticket: #37039

Is an issue with our image upload functions for avatar/cover images in BuddyPress profiles where the drag 'n' drop works but the click to open folder doesn't (known to be an issue with Plupload/Edge).

Fix on the WP ticket seems specific to WP backend?

Tested updating WP core plupload vendor files taking plupload.full.min.js to v.2.2.0 and this appears to have corrected the BP issue ( not tested exhaustively though).
