Description
Hi, i'm a profesional WP user.
we create a lot of site using it, so THANK YOU FIRSTLY!
in due of our experience we noticed that a lot of times we need to "label" a page version with a description that it helps us to understand why we changed that version of that page.. i mean... in a lot of ecommerce we did the client need to change his home page seasonally, i mean, they needs to change a working home page for the summer, with a new one for the winter time... and, when summer will come again they will need to look for the right summer version ... that is hidden into a lor of page version.... don't know if my explanation is cleat enought... :/ ....
So, with a label on the version...they can localize correctly the summer home page version or other things....
Can you develop this feature?
Thank you very much
Angelo
Hey there,
Welcome to WordPress Trac!
One of the great strengths of WordPress is its huge ecosystem with thousands of plugins and themes. For example, there's a plugin called Revision Notes which aims to solve what you're describing.
As such a feature is mostly useful for group blogs with multiple editors, and most WordPress sites being single-user installs, I think it's fine to keep it plugin territory.
