Someone had used Wordpress to create a website where they offer books for free without permission by the author or the publisher. This is copyright infringement that I can't stop for there is no place on their website to denounce this breach of the law.

But letting them go on as they do would be to encourage them to keep on with this crime.

So I need you to do something to stop this. See the book offered for free below.

If you look at the bottom of the page, you'll see that they used Wordpress to create this page.

Hi @Tyran,

WordPress is free open-source publicly-available software which anyone can use to create any form of site they wish.

While WordPress does not condone copyright infringement, WordPress.org has no direct control over the site in question or any ability to contact the site owner, we simply offer the software which they've used to create their site.

I'm marking this as invalid as this isn't a bug within WordPress, you'll need to contact the author of the site or host

This is copyright infringement that I can't stop for there is no place on their website to denounce this breach of the law.

There's a link to a contact form in the navigation that clearly states "Reporting Claims of Copyright Infringement".
