Description
Hello There,
Firstly I'm not a core developer like U. But the issues I saw when update WordPress from to 4.7.2 are mentioned below with screenshot.
- When I update WordPress It shows that your WordPress is updated and show recent version of WordPress.
- Then I click on Updates, and still it shows the message "You have the latest version of WordPress. Future security updates will be applied automatically."
- Also Language option Drop-Down does not displays in User Profile page.

Hey there,
Welcome to WordPress Trac
Then I click on Updates, and still it shows the message "You have the latest version of WordPress. Future security updates will be applied automatically."
This sounds correct to me. It means that you are up to date. In case there will be any security release, your site will get updated automatically and you don't have to worry about it.
Also Language option Drop-Down does not displays in User Profile page.
The language selection is currently only visible if there are already some translations installed on your site. To download new translations, go to Options -> General and choose a new language from the drop-down. For example, I chose German there so my blog is in German. Afterwards I chose English in my user profile.
