Description

My wife is non-technical, but she's the perfect UI guinea pig. Her opinion is that she should be able to delete a category and have all the posts/links under it deleted instead of moved to the default category. She's also frustrated by the way the Blogroll link is in a completely different place to the category management in the admin interface.

IMO this is debatable. I see it as all those links/posts are floating out there, and they just happen to be assigned a category or a few categories. Thus, deleting the category merely deletes the organizational category, but the posts within it stay there.

Still, though, it would be a nice option to delete all those posts/links that fell under the deleted category. Or if that was the *only* category it was assigned to, since if you delete a category and the posts/links have other categories attached to them, they just lose the deleted category.

Yikes. I think that potentially deleting lots of posts at once is a *bad* idea, even with confirmation. Heck, even with double confirmation.

-1 to this notion. Maybe provide an interface to let users select and delete any posts they want, and potentially give them the option to easily select all the posts in a cat (javascript), but no way it should just silently delete a lot of posts.
