    77I am still trying to find out why and where the query is getting overwritten or conflicted in my main site.

     10With main site I still have the same issue. However by searching more, I got this, which is similar to my issue (http://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/134537/how-to-make-a-wp-query-search-with-custom-post-types).
