Description
Hi folks,
Just noticed that the wrong is date listed on the 4.7.4 Codex documentation page at
https://codex.wordpress.org/Version_4.7.4
It lists "On 20 Apr, 2016, WordPress 4.7.4 was released to the public." instead of 20 Apr, 2017
This seems to relate to other Codex pages too.
Cheers

I hope this is the best place to post a correction such as this - I couldn't find any other way to send a notification re this but do please let me know if there's a more appropriate channel for things such as this to be reported in future.

Thanks @rinkuyadav999 - (looks like our messages just crossed) - sure, yes, I figured this isn't a core issue but couldn't find another place to send through an alert re this. But in future I will just go in and amend the date. Thanks for updating this and for the clarification :)

hi again @rinkuyadav999 - sorry I'm new to this so excuse me if this is an obvious question - but I realise now why I didn't amend the date - it doesn't appear that I am able to edit that top part of the codex page

At the top-right of the page you should see Codex tools: Log in
, you can log in to the codex using your wordpress.org username and password there :)
p.s. Welcome to Trac and look forward to seeing you in #docs channel
p.p.s The WordPress Slack signup page is at https://chat.wordpress.org
