In WordPress 4.8 the changed author won't be changed in the new revisions (and autosave).

Hi @elisa-demonki and thanks for opening the ticket. I just saw this now when reviewing revision tickets and would like to investigate further.

  • Can you describe steps to reproduce? is it just: Author 1 create and publish post, author 2 edit post and save, check revisions screen?
  • Did this not happen before 4.8?
