Description

I scheduled an already published page to publish with an update on July 1, 2017. After doing this the page was no longer visible. This has started since the last update to WordPress. I did this twice with different pages and was able to replicate the issue. When unscheduling the page and publishing the page, the system thinks there is already a page with that name so it adds a number at the end of the URL. This cannot be undone.

Hi @saraelliott. Thanks for the bug report, and sorry it's taken so long for anyone to respond. Scheduling updates to an existing page is not a feature that exists natively in WordPress, so presumably you are using a plugin for that. As such this sounds like a bug in that plugin - which I would hope has been fixed given the amount of time that has passed. Either way it sounds like something that should have been raised with the plugin author - usually via the plugin's support forum - rather than here, as Trac is for issues with the core functionality of WordPress itself.
