Media library - applying image and date filter redirects to homepage

When in the media library, select LIST view > select IMAGES in the 'All media items' dropdown, select a month from the dropdown and click FILTER. I am being redirected to the websites homepage rather than the filter results.

3 people have replicated this bug, I personally have replicated it across 3 of our Wordpress websites. I tried disabling media related plugins and it had no affect.

I tried to replicate this issue. I checked without any plugin. It's working fine. I have prepared video. Please check it.

I also tried but cannot replicate the issue.

Tested on

• WP: 4.9-alpha-40870-src, 4.8.1
• PHP: 5.6.30

Tested by, installed new WordPress account without install any 3rd-party plugins then, uploaded images & zip file & text file. Then follows:
