Description
Hi I am using a gabfire theme to run my site www.bamendaonline.net recently when I try to access my widget page under appearance it returns a complete blank page. I have uninstall most of my plugins and nothing seems to change. I don't know where I have gone wrong or if its a problem with the latest version of wordpress. This is one of the message I get when I use F12 on my brower "Failed to load resource: "the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)" Thanks

Probably in this cases it's a bug in the theme and not of WordPress, you have to check the error log for any php errors.

Maybe your memory_limit is to low. Have you enabled WP_DEBUG?
https://codex.wordpress.org/WP_DEBUG
It's important to check, if its caused by WP Core. So you have to change to a default theme and deactivate all your plugins. You can make a local copy of your installation, so you don't have to do it on the live page.

The problem persist if you change the theme?
