Multiple items in WP_Customize_Media_Control

Description
It'd be great to be able to select galleries, playlists or other multiple items of media from the customizer. Currently we're limited to single objects.

As a very simple example use case, where an image may be inserted somewhere now, it could become a slideshow.

Multiple-instance media settings like galleries and playlists are possible in widgets now. Moving forward, block-based themes would allow these to be used anywhere. There doesn't seem to be much demand for core customize controls that facilitate these types of settings.
For now I would suggest extending the core media control to create custom controls with this functionality in plugins and themes. If anyone wants to propose bringing a specific implementation of this into core, please reopen this ticket.
