Suggestion for the upcoming Gallery widget in 4.9

Description
Can the image gallery added using this widget open on a lightbox and have left-right navigation. Right now just a single image file opens at a time.

The Galley widget is just re-using the same gallery that is added to posts. There is no lightbox option available for galleries in posts, so there is no gallery option available for the Gallery widget. Jetpack has a Carousel module which adds lightboxes for galleries whether they are in the post content or in a widget, so I suggest using that. I don't know about the suitability of adding lightbox support for galleries in core.
