Description

after upgrading to 4.9, my widgets cannot be edited. All i see is just the buttons after each widget (save etc)

I don't think this is an issue related to core. It should be issue with theme or plugins you have installed. May be they are not full compatible with 4.9

I feel like this issue can be closed, due to lack of reporter feedback and the difference of 7 years. If there was a core issue, logically it feels like it should have surfaced a bit more in that timeframe.
