Description

Hello,

Recently a bug was reported in our site that front end TinyMce is not working in Microsoft edge. And while debugging I figured out that editor is not working in wp-admin as well. TinyMce/WP may be using restricted charterers in CSS id or class.

Can this be fixed?

Hey @nerdaryan

Can you post the exact error which you're encountering? Preferably with a file/line reference? The version of Windows and Edge Version would also be appreciated.

Are you running any extra TinyMCE/Visual Editor-specific plugins?

I don't have a Edge browser available to test in, but my understanding is that it's been tested working previously.

Hello @dd32,
Sorry for incomplete information. I am testing on a new site without any plugin installed. I will get back to you with results of an automated browser testing.

It seems there is something wrong in local. Browser test passed on CI. Please close.
