Description
How do I remove the Kia Ora in the NZ language? I do not want anything associated with Maori on my English website. If I wanted Maori I would have asked for a Maori language.

Hi @kezzab25 welcome to Core Trac.
This is for development enhancements and bugs related to Core. As this is more of a Polyglots issue, you'll be better off talking to the New Zealand translations team regarding this issue. The NZ team can be found on the Make/Polygots site.
In the meantime, you can either change your language to en_US (the default) or to en_GB (British English) which probably shares a more similar language style.

The vast majority of the #en-nz translations are English, here and there are a couple of customisations to differentiate us from #en-au, #en-ca, #en-gb, and #en-us. The important thing to note is that the English spelling of the translations is 100% pure.
I totally understand if you want to remove maori words from your WordPress installation - and switching to en_GB or en_US will replace the entry (while keep all other translations in place).
EDIT: Added the following glossary links from each translation so you can see the changes per locale.

I'm not sure, but I think the Translate WordPress Handbook would be a better place for you to start, @kezzab25.
For en_nz, you can filter it by searching for all the instances of "Kia Ora".
