Twenty seventeen: Home page text is shown twice

Hi there,

I can not find the -possibly simple- reason, why my home page text is shown twice on www.cordula-nentwig.de
I have disabled all plugins, cleared the browser cache and it still remains.
What can I do???
I like the theme and do not want to use another one.

Also can you please re-check how many "Test" posts are showing under your Posts in admin?

You mentioned your version of WordPress is 1.5! Is this really what you are using?

sorry I did not see your message, @subrataemfluence
I was sent all sorts of new issues since I subscribed hoping to find new Ideas. So the important message was not seen by me...
I have checked the site regarding your questions.
The WP version is the latest, the text is only typed in once.
And the steps I did:
After loading 2017, I have tried to use velvet blue to make all http's a https.
Then I typed in my text (I have had a formatted description of my services already but deleted them hoping to get rid of the error).
I will try to attach a file showing the plugins I use.

First thing I would suggest to deactivate all the plugins you have installed so far. I am not sure if you are really using WordPress 1.5. If yes, I don't have much idea how much backward compatibility twentyseveteen has with WordPress version.

However, first you please try to do a fresh WordPress 1.5 version (or whatever you are using) and see if you can reproduce the issue with twentyseventeen.

@subrataemfluence by 1.5 aludroc probably means the TwentySeventeen version.

@aludroc Please go to your Customizer (Administration panel and go to Appearance -> Customize) and I'm pretty sure you will find a section there named Theme Options.

TwentySeventeen gives you the ability to select a total of 4 'pages' as sections to show at your Home if you have selected that as a template.

You have probably by accident selected that so it shows 2 panels with the same Page currently.

Thank you, I have tried the plugin deactivation thing, and did not find (as a beginner...) how to reinstall WP (neither where i could find the version, even though 3 weeks before I did).
But the other comment helped me, all text is shown once now.
