    11@xkon Never said it didn't make sense. But a lot of things that make since are still not the right choice.

    3 I'm not sure what experience with the general WordPress user/admin base is, but I have a great deal over the past 10 years. They (the bulk) are simply not gonna bother. I have spent the last few years developing our interfaces to eliminate problems that shouldn't have existed, simply because users didn't care to spend 3 minutes reading setting descriptions or read the docs.

    55Is that good for GDPR compliance from a legal standpoint, no, but 90% of them won't care to even modify it, I guarantee you will be able to google exact phrases from core suggested policy in a few months and find millions of results.
