Privacy Page Selection

In WP 4.9.6 Dashboard, where you can choose a Privacy Policy page,
the pop-up only gives you choices of Pages, not other content types.

This is located at wp-admin/privacy.php

I think this should include other content types, because in many situations, we use a "Miscellaneous" content type that is out of the normal flow of Pages or Posts.

A simple selector of other post types could be offered to show them, perhaps?

Hi there, and welcome to the WordPress Trac!

I fear this would over-complicate a page that we want users to not be too afraid of. You could change the output of this dropdown with a plugin, but for the majority of users this won't be needed. In light of this, and as a plugin can be used to modify the dropdown content for special cases, I'm going to close the ticket.
