Trying to save draft, publishes live

I just started working on this website ​http://queeniesonstclaude.com/ and I am trying to save edits to existing pages as drafts for client review. When I select Draft under status and click OK, the changes are published live. I just downloaded the latest version of WordPress this weekend.

I have to say I am very frustrated with your product. I have worked on various website publishing platforms and none are this awkward to use. I can't believe it's this difficult just to save a draft. It's a common procedure for companies to review work prior to publishing.

I thought you save something as a draft and it shouldn't go live. This is an issue. But thanks for nothing.

I agree and understand that when you save something as a draft shouldn't publish and go live. But this is not the right place to ask such questions so I appreciate you post your question at ​https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/ to start receiving quick responses from the volunteers.
