WordPress audio player has become corrupt after recent WP update

Description

After a recent WP update, the buttons on my music page are now corrupt (please see attached video).

My web designers can't fix it because it is not a plugin. It's WP's own play list.

It worked just fine a couple months ago, so I know I don't need a new plugin. Something went wrong with the update. If you can fix the bug, or let me know a workaround, I would be very grateful.

Hi @jeffmarshmusic – Sorry for the long delay in getting to your report and thanks for the very helpful demonstration video. It does look like a change to the CSS for the playlist might be affecting your site. At this time, the new block editor in WordPress doesn't include the playlist at all, so I'm not sure how quickly someone will be able to take a look at this.

  • Milestone Future Release deleted
  • Resolution set to invalid
  • Status changed from new to closed

Since there are no additional reports of this, the example site provided no longer exhibits the problem, and there's been no motion on this in five years, I'm closing this report as invalid. This is not because I know for certain this is an invalid ticket, but because I have no data to go on to further identify the source of the issue, and it doesn't make sense to keep a ticket open if there is no way to move it forward.

If there's any additional detail that can be provided, please feel free to reopen!

Note: See TracTickets for help on using tickets.
