Description

on my wordpress dashboard I am getting my PHP version as WordPress 4.9.6 running Customify theme.

Running PHP version: 5.6.33. but on the cpanel itsversion 7.2.
with this i am getting an error message: You server is running PHP version 5.6.33 which has not been actively supported since Jan 2017 and is below the recommended 7.2. Using an unsupported version of PHP means that you are using a version that no longer receives important security updates and fixes. Also, newer versions are faster which makes your site load faster. You must update your PHP or contact your host immediately! Learn more about what PHP is.
Please help me to solve this.

Hi there and welcome to WordPress Trac!

I don‘t think that message is coming from core. Also, what‘s unclear about it? Your PHP version is out of date. You should update to 7.2.

This message is not coming from WordPress core, although #41191 introduces a similar one.
