Description
I am using WordPress 5.0 in my local Environment and with Twenty Seventeen Theme.
So today I was trying to embed my meetup URL in Gutenburg but found the problem.
I got an error of
Sorry, we could not embed that content.
I am attaching the screenshot.

What's the exact URL you're trying to embed?
Both of these are working for me presently:

You are using a development version (5.3-alpha-45282-src).

This ticket has been superseded by #55997 as meetup.com have since deprecated their oembed endpoint.
I've closed this ticket with worksforme as it appears the issue could not be reproduced at the time.
