Description
So not a fan of the Gutenburg editor! I've lost access to most of my plug-in driven editing tools, like including snippets (for related content, drawing on categories). The top editing menu comes and goes on a whim, and I don't know how to get it back.
I've been on WordPress for well over 10 years (15 maybe?) and generally I'm a fan of upgrades and improvement. This switch though has minimized my ability to work under the hood. Even the accessing code editor is process heavy. The blocks are mind boggling. Why is each paragraph a block?
Also, when I position my cursor in an article and then click "insert media" it inserts it at the top of the document. So I have to cut-and-paste it. Information added into the properties of the media always require two takes for it to stick.
I do appreciate all you do, mostly. This one has added a lot of time to my regular work day.
Britt

Looks like the issue is resolved now?
Installed Classic editor, still no editing tools at the top of the file
