Description
I head up a nonprofit website and upgraded to WordPress 5.0. Since doing so, we are unable to change fonts when we create a post. There is no option to do so. It's very frustrating. Had I known that we would lose the ability to select various fonts when posting, I never would have upgraded to 5.0.
Can this be fixed? Is there a patch for this?

In addition to font options, one can no longer change the size of the font, like 12 point or 14 point or 16 point. There is only paragraph and then headers. Why was that functionality taken away? Or does Gutenberg conflict with certain themes? (which should have been explained better instead of the constant reminder to upgrade to the latest version of WP).

Hi there @bluesunday007, the old editor in Core didn't have the option to change the font family, only the font size.
Were you using a plugin for that? If so, and if you want to move to using the new editor, there are other plugins available for the same functionality.
Changing the font size works out of the box in the new editor, independently of theme, but if you are using Classic editor blocks you may have to convert them to regular (Paragraph and other) blocks.
