Description
When I write a big text in the editor, the main text box cannot push the custom meta boxes (CBM2) and an overlay problem occurs (please see the attachment).

I do not see the overlay in the latest WordPress (5.8) with Firefox/Windows.
It seems this has been fixed. If you still experience this, however, please reopen the ticket and give more details to help reproduce the problem.

Apologies it's taken a little while for a response. Is this still an issue you're experiencing?
I wasn't able to reproduce a bug locally, but it could be dependent on both the active theme and plugins that register metaboxes.
There were similar reports on the Gutenberg repository here, though that issue is now closed:
