Parent blocks are really hard to select

Description
When placing blocks inside one another (like the column block). It is very difficult to select the parent block if you want to edit it.
A possible solution would be to add an option to the more menu that would let you select parent.

There are a lot of ideas being explored for ways to improve this in the Gutenberg repo: https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/9628
Some improvements have already been merged and more are being tested and worked on. I'm going to close this in favor of the upstream issue so we can keep the discussion in one place.
