#46237 closed enhancement (duplicate)

The user-selected "Privacy Page" should allow for custom post types, not just "page".

Description

I would like to request the consideration of allowing the "Privacy Page" to be set to a "Custom Post Type"'s page.

Example: If a WordPress user has a special Post Type for legal documents, they should be able to use that custom post type to set their privacy page. This would allow plugins to better access this "Privacy Page".

Workaround: Set privacy page as "page" post type, and add a redirect rule to send to a different post, with a post type other than "page".

Thanks,
Tyler Harcourt.
