Description
One image is worth a thousand words. And an RSS feed with the image in evidence for each post is an important added value. It would make the feed more usable and appealing.
Unfortunately WordPress does not generate an RSS including the highlighted image. This can be remedied by modifying function.php or with a plugin, but it is not a very elegant solution.
Can you add this function?

Thanks for your request, we're already tracking this in #8994. You may want to try a plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-feed-post-thumbnail/ to implement this in the meantime.
