When I go to edit an existing product in woocommerce, the product doesnt update on publishing but redirects to posts page.

Am on wordpress 5.1 and the latest woocomerce.
I dont know if its a woocomeerce or a wordpress problem, vut this is what happens, when I try and update information on a product, the product isnt updated, instead am redirected to the posts page.
I have a considerable amount of products(250 or so).
