#46629 new feature request

Allow replacing placeholders in starter content posts/pages content

Description

The ability to create posts/pages doesn't really offer a whole lot of use out the gate unless a theme uses hardcoded urls for images in the content. It would be a great improvement if the same handling for placeholders in menus/theme_mods/options could be applied in context of posts/pages content.

I would assume — merely off the cuff — that part of the added challenge here would be in determining how to translate the placeholder into not just an image URL, but a particular size, alignment, and now even a particular block. This as opposed to options, theme mods, or featured images, which need just the attachment ID. It's possible this challenge has ways to address it in place that I'm overlooking, though.
