Description

Hello,

I got across with a suggestion while going through Reading setting > Setting > Dashboard. It would be more convenient if the two selection box(under Reading setting header) will be placed side by side using the white space right side. It will enhance the user experience and will result in clean design.

  • Component changed from General to Administration
  • Keywords 2nd-opinion added

Hi @monarkpatel, welcome to WordPress Trac! Thanks for the patch.

Just noting that these dropdowns might not always fit on the same line if some pages have longer titles or the labels have longer translations. I think it's better to consistently display them on separate lines, as is the case now.

  • Keywords needs-testing 2nd-opinion removed
  • Milestone Awaiting Review deleted
  • Resolution set to wontfix
  • Status changed from new to closed

I agree that keeping the two fields consistently on separate lines is better (but especially on smaller screens).
