Description
Hi,
I followed the steps of WordPress support to create page jumps with href and name,
but it didn't work.
And I replaced the name attribute with id, then it works fine.

Hi @aronwu, welcome to WordPress Trac! Thanks for the ticket.
It does look like the <a name="">
attribute is deprecated in HTML5. I've updated the page to recommend using <span id="">
instead.
Please note that this Trac is used for enhancements and bug reporting for the WordPress core software. Any issues with WordPress.org sites, including inaccurate instructions in support articles, should be reported on https://meta.trac.wordpress.org. Thanks!
