#47700 new enhancement

My Sites text is confusing

Description

To me the "My Sites" wording indicates I own the lists of sites shown. This isn't the case. I just need to be able to "read" a site for it to be shown in the "My Sites" list

Are you referring to https://build.trac.wordpress.org/browser/trunk/wp-includes/admin-bar.php?marks=471#L471 ?

It lists all sites where you're a member in a multisite network.
Do you have a better suggestion? It needs to be a short string, since the space in the adminbar is quite limited.

That's exactly the string I'm referring to. I can't edit my post above to say I am referring to a network install.

"Sites I have created and sites I am a member of" does the job but it is far too long.

Perhaps something like:

My Network
My Network of Sites

... or "My site list"

That would work

See attached image for how that would look

Next step: If the time would be ok for you, try to show up at
Multisite Weekly Chat Tuesday, July 16, 2019, 5:00 PM GMT in Slack channel "core-multisite" to support your suggestion. :)
