There has been requests/demand for that functionality and users found useful.
It's nice that pages can be sorted (filtered) by parent, especially useful for sites which have many pages in hierarchical structure.

For the reason I am new to submitting patches, my patch may need some modification. let me know.

Here screenshot -
left side is original, clicking on the parent slug makes the table sorted (as on the right screenshot)
