Description
When adding an image or replacing an image in a post under Gutenberg I get an empty media library with message "No Items Found." If I install the Classic Editor plug-in my media library returns and I can add existing images to new posts. I'm not even interested in trying to upload new images under Gutenberg as God knows what kind of "new" media library that will create separate and apart from my existing library. Is there a fix or a place I can look in the code to fix this issue so I can get rid of the Classic Editor plug-in which will eventually be deprecated?

Hi Sergey,
I'm talking about the built in Gutenberg editor present in the latest releases of WordPress. I disabled all plugins and the issue persists leading me to believe there is something that needs to be updated in my theme. Do you have any idea where to look to change the code so that my theme is compatible with the new Gutenberg editor?

Hi @gabrieldiggs. Are you still running into this bug in the latest WordPress? Could you film a video of the behaviour? It sounds very odd, and I can't recreate it myself. I don't think it would be theme related.
Hi @gabrieldiggs, welcome to WordPress Trac! Thanks for the report.
