New category page does not update on button click

When a new category is added and the button is clicked, I expect to see the category added to the list of categories on the right hand side of the page but the page is not updated. If I refresh the page, the new category shows up so it appears it has been added successfully, it just does not show up on the page after button click.

Did you tried to disable active plugin and check ? After disabling plugins if that happens please change the plugin and check it.

I hadn't but I just retried with all plugins disabled with the same result.

Could it be that this is considered 'normal' behaviour? I just noticed when I made a test category that when deleting the test category, nothing happened on 'button' click (just link text for delete though). However, upon refreshing it was removed.

If this 'bug' is not seen by others, I will ignore it. Such a minor issue...

In my case, the category gets added to the list right after clicking the 'Add New Category' button.
It does not need a refresh.
