Description
The current WordPress version doesn't show on the upgrade screen. I think it would be useful to have the current WordPress version showing on the update page.
Before (without current version number):
After (with version number):
This could save a lot of time. Rather than checking the version by going to the admin home and viewing 'at a glance', the update screen would allow users to make a more informed choice from the update screen. It's also possible that some users may have inadvertently unchecked the 'at a glance' checkbox and can't find the current version of WordPress they are running. This would also bring it into line with how plugins are displayed on the update screen. Plugins show the current version and the version that is available to update to.
Willing to update code to implement this if there are enough people wanting to take this forward.
