I had a fresh install with ONE measly plugin activated. Of course.
Deactivated FlexMLS IDX plugin and it works correctly ...
My bad. Just trying to help.

There is no need to apologise for trying to help! Your report is very useful - in this case we now know that FlexMLS IDX plugin does something which makes a compatibility problem and we can investigate that farther.
Thank you for the report, as this is not an issue with the theme I am going to close the ticket but I have added this to my notes to farther investigate. If I find a problem with the theme I will reopen this ticket, if I find something in the plugin I will report it to the plugin author. Maybe there is something we can do to make this more compatible with more plugins regardless of how those plugins try to hook in :)

can you give any more details?
Is there an error message in the customizer when you save?
Have you tried troubleshooting by disabling all plugins?
