Description

I've found strange behaviour during the plugins update.

A week ago I was updating one of three plugins and everything went well.
Today I wanted to update all available plugins, so I've selected all plugins using the top checkbox and the plugins were updated successfully, but also with the WordPress core (from version 5.2.4 to 5.3).

I've seen this behaviour also during the previous version (updated from version 4.9.8 to 5.0).

I'm using WordPress's default auto-update settings.
I've also checked Updraftplus's update log which logs also the WordPress version which confirmed my suspicion that the Core was updated along with plugins.

How did you install WordPress? Some one-click installs may include auto-update filters in a mu-plugin or in wp-config.php.

Sorry, everything is fine. There was no upgrade.
Obviously I just cannot read.
