Keep current version number displayed when an upgrade is available

Description

Wordpress version number is displayed at the bottom of every administration page.

However, when an update is available, this information disappears to be replaced by the number of the latest version number.
From my point of view, the number of the installed version should remain easy to access as it is an important information for the site administrators.

Sorry for the duplicate!
I tried to find another ticket on this topic but it wasn't easy with "version" as a keyword... (wow 9 yrs ago!!!)
