Description

When creating a new post, whenever i insert the <!--more--> text in a block using the html editor, it is saved properly.

When i come back to edit the post, sometimes the text is displayed as interpreted html sometimes it is displayed with the html editor ...

In the first case (interpreted html), if i modify another block and save the post, the <!--more--> is suppressed !

@arena Thanks for the ticket!

I have not been able to reproduce this exact problem, but could you insert a "More" block instead of adding the <!--more--> tag inside another block? Or if that does not fit your needs, could you add the Read More tag within a "Classic" block?

If neither method works for you, a Gutenberg/Block Editor ticket can be created over on the GitHub repository:

@arena Did either of those options work for you, or do we need to investigate this issue further?
