Description
The video player controls disappear after closing fullscreen. This can be reproduced on the WordPress.tv site: https://wordpress.tv/2020/03/30/gregory-collins-small-business-search-engine-optimization/
To reproduce:
- Start playing the video
- Click on the fullscreen button
- Exit fullscreen by pressing ESC or pressing the fullscreen button again
The quality, fullscreen, and speed buttons will no longer appear.
Browser: Chrome (other browsers seemingly unaffected)
OS: macOS

This Trac instance is for WordPress core.
If I understand it correctly, then you're reporting a problem that is present specifically on wordpress.tv? If that's correct, would mind reporting this in https://meta.trac.wordpress.org/ instead? That's where we keep track of things that need fixing on wordpress.org and related websites.
I'll leave this ticket open for now, just so that it doesn't fall off the radar.
