Description
I have been trying to log into my account ie WEBSITE.com/wp-admin and the result I get is this message:
This site can’t be reachedThe connection was reset.
Try:
Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
Running Windows Network Diagnostics
ERR_CONNECTION_RESET
Tried several ways including resetting password and it says my account does not exist.
I have tried all the recommended tricks, resetting firewall, etc.
No luck.
My site is hosted by WP engine and was working up until a week ago, including being able to log into the site, etc.
I have sat on hold with WordPress for several hours and have finally had to hange up.
Any suggestions? Anyone been able to contact wordpress directly?
Hi @tanya98,
Welcome to Trac! I'm sorry that you're experiencing issues with your WordPress site.
Unfortunately, this is not the correct location to receive support. This Trac instance is for tickets related to the development of the WordPress Core software.
I'm assuming you were on hold with your hosting company, because there are no phone numbers to reach out to WordPress directly as there's no singular company behind the software. I recommend trying to reach out to your hosting company again, or creating a topic over on the WordPress.org support forums, which is staffed with many volunteers that can help you resolve your issue.
