As per this https://make.wordpress.org/core/handbook/best-practices/spelling/#terminology document use Ajax instead of AJAX for greater consistency of terminology.

I changed the summary to "references" because other JavaScript—and PHP—files have "AJAX" all uppercase in the docs, too.
