Hi there, welcome to WordPress Trac! Thanks for the ticket.

Just noting that I could not reproduce the issue in the latest Chrome (84.0.4147.89) on Windows 10.

  • Does the issue still happen with all plugins disabled and a default theme (Twenty Twenty) activated?
  • Does it still happen with all browser extensions deactivated?

Replying to SergeyBiryukov:

Key data

  • PHP 7.4
  • Only Twenty Twenty activated
  • No plugins activated
  • No browser extensions

The problem only occurs in the Chrome Browser (latest version) if a privacy page has been defined.

Hi @frank-noack, thanks for your ticket. I am unable to reproduce the problem in:

PHP 7.4
Only Twenty Twenty activated
No plugins activated
No browser extensions
Chrome Version 116.0.5845.97

Not sure, but noticed that you were using LastPass, not sure if the auto-filling from that extension could be causing the issue on your end. Can you please try again if you can replicate the same now too?
