Description
Currently the colored circle in the dashboard widget and in the top of the Site Health-page is quite vague in my opinion. Why is it so small, and what does the thin color border communicate? It does not communicate the grade of health for me.
Just an idea: could we use a more direct way to communicate the health with better graphics? I tried a thermomether/scale with an arrow and three colors exposed all the time. With it you get an idea of where your are, and where you could be.
Thanks!

Hiya,
Hmmm, yeah visualization of this is kind of hard, originally there was a percentage score included inside the circle, but it was heavily misinterpreted, so the team moved away form that to the now circle with only two color codes;
- Yellow "Should be improved"
- Green "Good"
For this a progress circle works better, since just two color states makes it seem like a "yes or no" type of situation, so the circle is intentionally vague, you see it's not quite full if you really want to, but your site still works.
I'm still interested in suggestions on what might be better to relay the information though, I'm just not sure the above suggestion of a barometer is the right direction for that.

Thanks for the reply @Clorith!
Maybe the missing percentages could be the reason why the visualization lacks boldness, the space inside the circle had a meaning, but not any more? The line is so narrow, could it be wider?
Another idea to give the panel more meaning is to show ”Areas” with a status indicator. Like ”Files”, ”Plugins”, ”REST API” etc. In that way a user can get a quick overview of the actual health status of the website's areas.
