#5092 closed enhancement (wontfix)

Rename IDs devnews and planetnews on WP Dashboard for consistency

Description

While the primary and secondary RSS feeds can be changed through plugins, which is great, the IDs of the divs the feeds target are still called "devnews" and "planetnews" respectively. I suggest this is changed to "primary_feed" and "secondary_feed". I attached a patch which addresses this (minor) issue.

This will likely be affected by the admin redesign, so let's hold off for a few weeks.

  • Keywords new-admin-dependency added

Marking as having a dependency on the new Admin Panel on whether it should continue to be left open after the new theme has been committed.

  • Keywords new-admin-dependency removed
  • Milestone 2.5 deleted
  • Resolution set to wontfix
  • Status changed from new to closed

No longer a factor, closing as won't fix, since this is unlikely to be fixed in 2.3 also.
