Authors dropdown is not loading at admin side due to huge userbase

Hi Team,

We are facing the authors dropdown loading issue on pages add, edit, quick edit etc., user dropdown areas.

Admin areas are loading very very slow and few days onwards some users dropdown existing areas are not loading on browsers and it is failing after half page load.

We currently have around 7 lakhs (0.7M) users base on our application.

Is there any way / any ajax dropdown features instead of loading all users in that dropdown at once?

Please let us know how to avoid this issue.
