Description

Moving classic block anywhere or moving other blocks next to it causing random code to show up.

Clean WP install with any theme I try. No other plugins installed. Both in wordpress 5.6 version of Gutenburg and 9.6.

Hi @chenz2! Thanks for reporting. I tried to recreate the bug and I couldn't, but I do see this was reported in the Gutenberg Github Repository. I will mention your bug there and it will be handled there. https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/24173

Are there any updates on this? The bug has actually been around for over a year (before this trac was opened) and still not fixed by anyone, despite being provided with lots of info on it on github. It makes using the classic block almost unusable.

This ticket has been closed out because this equites a fix upstream to the Gutenberg repository. @geheren kindly copied the issue over there to make the team aware. You’ll need to follow up at the location linked to in the previous comment.
